Analytics
Integration
Omnys integrates with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) using the official Google Analytics Data API and OAuth 2.0 authorization. Once connected, Omnys retrieves website traffic and behaviour data — sessions, pageviews, conversions, and user acquisition sources — to provide a complete picture of your store's performance alongside your ad spend and revenue data.
No passwords are shared. Access is read-only and limited to aggregated analytics data. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account settings.
Ad performance metrics alone don't tell the full story. To help you understand the complete customer journey — from first click to final purchase — Omnys connects your analytics data with your ad spend, revenue, and inventory context.
Without Analytics access, Omnys cannot:
- Track traffic sources and attribute revenue to the correct channels
- Identify high-traffic pages with low conversion rates
- Measure the impact of campaigns on organic and direct traffic
- Understand user behaviour patterns that affect store profitability
- Generate complete cross-channel performance reports
Omnys retrieves aggregated, anonymized analytics data via the Google Analytics Data API. No individual user data is accessed:
- Sessions, users, and pageview counts
- Traffic acquisition sources (organic, paid, direct, referral)
- Conversion events and goal completions
- Bounce rates and average session duration
- Device and geographic breakdowns (aggregated)
Omnys accesses only aggregated analytics data — not individual user records, personal identifiers, or raw event logs. All data retrieved through the Google Analytics Data API is already anonymized and aggregated by Google before Omnys receives it.
Connecting your Google Analytics account uses the standard Google OAuth 2.0 flow:
All analytics data is handled in accordance with Google's API Services User Data Policy and applicable privacy regulations.
- Access granted only through Google OAuth — no passwords stored
- Read-only access — Omnys cannot modify your analytics data
- Only aggregated, anonymized data is retrieved — no individual user records
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Analytics data is never sold or shared with third parties
- Data is used solely to power insights and reporting within Omnys
You can revoke Omnys's access to your Google Analytics account at any time from your Google account settings — no action needed inside Omnys.
Visit your Google Account Permissions page, find Omnys in the list of connected apps, and remove access. Omnys will immediately lose the ability to retrieve your analytics data.
