Integration
Omnys integrates with Shopify using the official Shopify API. Users connect their Shopify store through the Shopify OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. Once connected, Omnys accesses store data — products, orders, inventory, and performance metrics — to power the intelligent dashboards, alerts, and insights that keep your store running at its best.
Omnys only requests the specific API scopes needed to operate. No write access is taken without explicit purpose, and you can disconnect at any time from your Shopify admin.
Shopify is the core of your business — Omnys needs access to it to connect the dots between your store operations, ad performance, and profitability.
Without Shopify access, Omnys cannot:
- Track product-level margins and profitability
- Detect inventory risks and low-stock alerts before revenue is lost
- Connect ad spend to actual orders and revenue
- Monitor store health, SEO, and product data quality
- Generate automated performance reports for your team
Omnys accesses only the Shopify data scopes required to deliver its features:
- Products — titles, descriptions, prices, variants, and inventory levels
- Orders — order counts, revenue, and fulfilment status
- Inventory — stock levels and location data
- Analytics — sales performance and traffic metrics
- Store settings — currency, timezone, and domain configuration
Omnys does not access customer personal data, payment card details, or any data outside the approved scopes selected during authorization.
Connecting your Shopify store uses the standard Shopify OAuth 2.0 flow — the same mechanism used by all Shopify apps:
All Shopify data is handled in accordance with Shopify's Partner Program Agreement and data privacy standards.
- Access granted only through Shopify OAuth — no passwords stored
- Only the minimum required data scopes are requested
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Shopify store data is never sold or shared with third parties
- Data is used solely to operate and improve Omnys for your store
You can disconnect Omnys from your Shopify store at any time from your Shopify Admin panel.
Go to Shopify Admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels, find Omnys, and click Uninstall. Omnys will immediately lose access to your store data. Your data will be deleted within 30 days of disconnection.
